Nostalgia- Everyday is an adventure~! (part I)
Right, this is the first time i wrote from indo. well, well, it's been a year since coming back home. Some changes did happen along that 1 year, but, I think i changed the most. Here's some stuff i discovered:
-Can't handle car rides anymore for an unknown reason
-Seem to be more motivated to draw here than back in s'pore
-Seem to be more prone to sore throat here, w/o reason
-more stuff
Anyways, it's not probably as fun as last year's visit (last year's was kinda boring too). Bookshops have really changed a lot. All the comics were wrapped and sealed now. To top off the misery, they even removed some of the good stuff to make way for new ones which are far from the real good ones. So, alright, eveyday here is still an adventure somehow. It all begins back then, on a thursday afternooon, mom and i left for the airport >.<
Friday:
Yep, went out with aunt and mom to plaza indonesia to eat. Adventure? I stuffed 4 serving of food down my throat. Maybe that's why i had sore throat now. Dunno. Also, we went to plaza senayan to get some shoes for my cuz. Unfortunately, there weren't any offers on the shoes, i think. And so, i read books at kinokuniya, just upstairs. I took 45 mins to read a 'nice' book. It's called 'Adult Origami' by the way. Too bad i've forgotten how to fold the sperms again >.<
Saturday till Monday:
Yea, hell starts today. A super long and sickening car trip, enough to drive ppl like me nuts. Starting from 6.30 am, all the way till 3pm with some stops slong the way, including a farm and a strawberry plantation. At 3, we arrived at kampung sampirean, or at least it's called something like that. It was a great place, like small huts placed on the shores of a manmade lake. We get across from place to place by sampan(s) ^^ The trip back to jakarta was worse. from 10.30 till 3. With no chance to sleep. Yea, it's bad. Anyways, i guess that's all for now.
To be concluded~

Finally, last Sunday, I bought my DVD writer. Had quite a time at home, dismantling my computer to remove my old cd drive and put in this new baby. Anyways, i did manage to put it in with quite some difficulty but the difficulty did not just end there. The burning time i took for 6 of my chobits... was 6 hours with no breaks. yea, great. and when i burned at night before i sleep (11pm) it'll finish at 4am in the morning, with the cd tray out until i wake up and shut it myself. But, the results were quite satisfying though. Kinda fun, rewatching chobits again ^^;;;

As you might have guessed, yes! I've gone head over heels and much more just to get Yukiru Sugisaki's manga. ranging from the famous D.N.Angel, all the way till the not-so-known-of-its-existance Lagoon Engine, I've combed loads of places to get most of Yukiru Sugisaki's works. Reasons? simple! I wanna draw like Sugisaki-sensei. Since I'm planning to create a manga during these holiday season, I'd like my pictures to be like Sugisaki-sensei's. The project is known as 'Jigoku no Fuin' or at least something like that. a story based in a world, probably like Spira in FFX, but happier in someways. It tells of the main character, Noua and 3 others like him, travelling to find the gate of hell and seal it (just like the way Tidus and company travel to trash Sin). The details is inspired by Elemental Gerad and Candidate for Goddess. So, no surprise if the costume may look like those fromt he Candidate for Goddess.

5 Day of Hell~ Over!! (part 2)
Gwah~ It's been so long since i wrote my last article. Anyways, here's the continuation.
Day III:
Sunday. I left at 7.30 for church. But i ended up sleeping there since it was too early. I attended service and then sunday class. After that, i went for lunch with nana and then i left for kembangan, where my patrol was working. However, things took a godd turn then. We got a break at 2pm and free all the way till 6. That's where i went home to sleep, play, etc. It wasn't so bad after all compared to yesterday.
Day IV:
Jobweek is getting tough at its final round. We were not welcomed everywhere we go by now. After Joash caught up from his chinese lessons, we went to his house. Elliot and fan ren was working alongside the shark patrol today btw and we all went all out to sweep ashwin's block. But the feedback wasn't good. fan ren got a dog set on him while i got a door slammed at my face. i think we only managed to get $20 or so from the block. It was real bad and bringing down the morale. So, we decided to stop and slacked all the way till 6.
Day V:
the time we've all been waiting for. No pasar malam today. After closing ceremony at 8, we brought down the flagstaff and had breakfast. After that, home sweet home~ I got home at 11am and then slept all the way till evening, skipping lunch.

5 days of hell- over~! YAY~! (part I)
AH~! 5 days of tough jobweek is finally over. It was quite an experiance each year but they always end quite badly somehow.
DAY I~ 18/03/2005
Arrived at school by 5 pm. Instead of the planned 3-2-1 flagstaff, xun yong made us create a 4-3-2-1 flagstaff. Tying is easy, but bringing it up was very hard. after tying, we left for the den, without raising the flagstaff. The event started with a pasar malam at the basketball court. damn, it was embarrassing! Laying out everything you brought at the basketball court- including underwear. there were still some students at the school at that time and they stared and laughed away. I NEVER EVER wanna do that again. after that was the raising of the flagstaff. it took very long to find the pegs and not to mention it was already very dark by that time. in the end, the flagstaff was raised by 10pm. (!) that leaves the dinner and sleeping time. My patrol had to make shoe rack, which in the end was never used at all, and clear the whole class of #01-06 to make a place to sleep.
DAY II~ 19/03/2005
The beginning of the REAL jobweek. It was started with a pasar malam in the classroom at 7am. But even so, we woke up at 4.30am to bathe and prepare the 'ULTIMATE' pasar malam (the troop get screwed up real badly last year because of pasar malam) by that time, it was already 6.30, so, i spend the rest of the time to tie up the uncompleted shoe rack. It was still as wobbly as last night in the end. Marvin got sick before 7 and was sent home. at 7, the pasar malam began. it was horrible. Mubarak could dig out even the slightest mistake from each and everyone's pasar malam! fortunately, he was still lenient towards the sec 1s. we wrapped up the pasar malam with 20 pumpings (the original amount was 80). Anyway, 5 mins after we packed up, it was ceremony time. Everyone above the sec 1 level was permitted to wear full uniform XDDD (YAY~!). following the ceremony was breakfast. after that, we received our jobweek card and went off to the designated place for my shark patrol, Lucky Heights. the first few hours was great! my team, which consisted of Liang Wei, Teck Jun and I managed to find a job that earned $200 within an hour, with some complementary drinks provided. it was an enjoyable job. we washed the car, vacuumed the house, clean the toilet and storeroom, weed the garden and wash the corridors outside. However, all the credits was taken by my evil patrol leader, joash. he dropped by at the house and claimed the $200 along with the credit, which entitle him to the gold bumblebee badge this year. because of the easy $200 we made, we decided to slack for the rest of the day. we ate lunch at banquette in east point mall, the 6 of us (Joash, me, Liang wei, teck jun, alex and mitchell). After that, back to the jobweek which only earned us around a total of $15. We went back to camp at 5. Joash and I and the rest who are going to the concert prepared ourselves while the rest continued with jobweek. The concert was kinda boring with me, snoozing during some events. But, the ticket was worth a thousand pumpings. I heard that the whole troop got it from chun huan while i was watching the concert. To top it off, they did it in public. That was real bad. Jerry and lester from amir's patrol cried after that.
To be continued next time...

This freaking article is 'dedicated' to my dammed social studies teacher.
'Who did Samuel Lee's work?' I raised up my hands in nervousness (spelling check pls).
'scold him all you want. his evaluation is bad.' That was all before the said 'You again! down 20!' At first, i refused. But things turned worse when Chang Song added fuel to the fire. I did a bad work and he havent even handed in the work! In the end, he got 30 while i got 25 in total. We did the pumpings together, in full view of the whole class. Damn that teacher. Anyways, after everything, She asked me and Chang Song to lock up the class. Chang Song had locked the back door and most of my classmates had left. That was when she approached me and pulled my hair! She said 'I'll dump you in a DHL box and send you back to Indonesia.'
OK. Here's the freaking source based answers.
My ss teacher is a racist. Evidence can be found on her speech itself, 'send you back to Indonesia'. She considered me an outsider though I'm a PR. This shows that she is a racist.
On top of that, she abuse her own student physically by commanding them to do push ups. I got mine and she even wanted military standard push-ups and always trying to find faults in our push-ups. She even still dare ask for bird's nest and chocolates after pulling my hair! This is done probably because of my work. But even so, she has no right to physically abuse us, even when we fail her subject.
On top of that, she's a sexist. Some of the female students, too, had faults and done their work badly like me. However, she did not punished them, reason enough to show that she's a sexist.
And so, there you have it. 3 paragraphs on the source, trying to cover all the 'FDEL' stuff. Luckily, this is a first time. I'll probably forget about all these things by tomorrow and attend her lesson as usual. But of course, just like at sec 1, I'll turn a cold shoulder to her as soon as she abused her power 3 times (just like what i did to franken). I'll still continue to forgive and forget until then.

The man of the cabinet, the man of the cab
After the usual Scouts meeting on Tuesdays, I was planning to go home straight. Timotheous was kind enough then to treat us a ride home on a taxi. Nick (WQ), Timotheous and I hailed a taxi and got in. The driver was quite an old man, probably on his 50s. He looks like a friendly person and he spoke very fluently, probably better than my oral marks.
It all started when we were going slightly uphill when we saw a house, looking like a church. He started talking then, about how foreign people getting all the good jobs, selling furnitures and cabinets at around $5k each and then buying huge houses. Then he continued , criticising the government, that they surrendered all the good jobs to the foreign talents and giving jobs to the local talents such jobs like a cab driver. He also talked about life, having a big house and a big life, big problems and big adventure, or just a small house, insignificant life, small problems and a boring life. Him, being the 'patriotic' person, blamed the government for treating the foreign talents better than the locals. Of course, there are other reasons too. He mentioned that he once drove a significant child home once with his guardian. He was talking back then, like talking to us, before getting a few sharp bangs from behind his seat and a scolding, telling him to shut up. I think from then on, he started going against the politics. He said, sweet things are the ones that makes one sick. Bitter ones are the medicines. Criticism are meant for people to improve; it's like a sharp injection as a medication. This i agree. Except for the fact that criticism can hurt, it's probably the best way to make one improve. Anyways, he also complained about other things such as unfilial children and all, before reaching my destination, East Point Mall. Before I left, he encouraged me to study hard and win a significant figure in life.
Of course, it's not an easy thing. being significant is hard! but most of what he says is correct. The government really has a room for improments. But then again, this is like a debate. And you know how much i dislike debates and conflicts. I think some of his opinions are too exaggerating. Not all the good things goes to the foreign talents. Singaporeans has their own good too, for example, subsidised school fees, national day parade tickets and all.

Even though my sis's birthday was yesterday, her party was today. She called in a couple of friends and among them, 2 was familiar. Of course, they were the usual duo.
I was playing my RO then, hunting down every zombie prisoner i can find, when suddenly, one of her more familiar friend came up to me and said 'fuck you'. My instant reaction was a slight jolt to the back. Did i hear it right? apparently, it was correctly heard. Maybe she's just too desperate after all. All those thinking left me balnk for a few seconds. By the time i regained my senses, my priest was murdered by 2 skel prisoners and 3 zombie prisoners -.-"
Anyways, back to the actual reality. It was already 9 by the time only 2 of my sis's friends were left. Yes, it was the 2 again. They were playing in my sis's room. I paid them a little visit, with the intention of borrowing one of my sis's manga, as usual, when suddenly, the same person who said 'fuck you' to me asked me to lend her my Bleach (an anime i downloaded recently). Of course, being my forgiving self and all, i let it go. She promised to return it by the March holidays. Thinking back about the afternoon, i threw in another cd of Tactics for her, feeling a pity and sorry for her, being so desperate and so on. Apparently, she didn't appreciate my feelings of sorry and called me a 'gay'. All this 2 years, i recognised her as a girl. At the mention of 'gay', i backtracked to a few hours ago when she 'wanted to 'f' me'. It shocked my tremendously, thinking that she, or rather he, was a boy! I was surprised that i can even attract people of the same gender. Quite a unique experience.

Ah~ It's been a few weeks since the homework time was in. I've been through some sessions and actually survived it. It wasn't as bad as I though, maybe except for Thursdays where i can't even talk to the person next to me. I find it a good start to build up relationship with my class, little by little (^^;) Spending time with each other after doing homework (copying in my case XD) Even mp3 players are allowed in there, which makes life a LOT easier. Aside to that, I've got some Total Defense Day rehersals till the 7th of feb, which is only a few weeks away. Almost all the sec 3 scouts like myself is involved and also some sec 3 NCCs and some sec 2 juniors from SJAB and NCC. It's also a good start to build up relationship with them, interacting as we play our parts in the 'mime'. Also, Nick, El, Amir and I plan to play soccer everyday after homework time. That'll be a great thing, since you can vent all the stress and frustration into the ball and kick it as hard as possible (^^;;;) Anyways, i'm really trying to get along with my class now, through almost everything. I've got a feeling that my current class can be as fun as last year's 2/7. Wish me luck~
