Experienced the terrible homework time today. It's based on English and Social Studies today. I had a harsh time there, but then again, it's not as bad as i thought it would be. The teacher was just sitting in his corner, minding his own business. I even copied marco's work under his nose! and he said nothing about it. I spent 75% of the time copying from various sources. Then i'm left with 1 more period to wait. kinda boring. wish i could make it a bit more fun, though.

Just a few days ago, i ran into Shingetsutan Tsukihime at Tampines interchange. That was after the sudden Scouts metting i had. It took me quite some time to watch it. It's disappointing, though. firstly because of singapore board of censor. and then came the sad-type ending. Because of s'pore board of censor, i missed a lot for blood that i wanted to see. anyways, i'd give a 7.5/10 for the anime. I didn't get to read the manga, though. that's because of the m18 rating that's stamped so big at the cover page. anyways, here's my review:
Tohno Shiki is a high school student. what him special is his 'choushikin no magan' which allows him to see red lines over all things, be it living or dead. Aside to that, he's also armed with a pocket knife that he uses to cut those red lines. if the object has any line cut, it will be disected into many pieces. But what is it that grant him that magical eyes? It all began many years ago.
The family of Tohno has a different blood from humans- half vampire. on that day, the head of the family at the time massacred the Nanaya clan- a clan of vampire hunters. Our protagonist was the sole survivor of the massacre. The Tohno head pitied him and decided to take him into his family, also hoping that he could surpress the vampire blood of the tohno. the tohno head also had a daughter, Akiha, and a son, Shiki. Shiki, Shiki and Akiha always play together. Until one day, the real Tohno Shiki acted strangely. He was possesed by an immortal being called Roa. Shiki then stabbed Shiki on the chest, causing our protagonist to nearly fall dead. The Tohno head was shocked with the incident and stabbed his own son. However, the antagonist was an immortal because of roa. so, the head locked in the jail at the basement of the mansion. Akiha, on the other hand, was depressed at Shiki's critical state. in the end, she decided to share half of her own life so that Shiki can live again. However, when Shiki was awakened, he strted seeing the lines. Also, he was educated with false memories- the memory without the antagonist. Aside to that, he was also told that he was hospitalized because of a car accident. Ever since he saw the lines, he has always been bothered. he escaped from the hospital soon after and met a woman. the woman claims to be a magician and then she gave a pari of glasses to Shiki. the glasses stops Shiki from seeing the lines. So, back to the current time.
One day after school, Shiki met Arcuied who is a vampire. Because of his Nanaya blood, his instincts tell him to kill her. he fell into a trance and dissected Arc into 17 pieces! After that, he fainted. When he woke up, he was already at his home. Ever since, Arc has been persuing him. soon enough, Arc and Shiki got closer to each other. Arc is in town because she sensed Roa in that city. She hates Roa because he made Arc drank blood. With that, Arc and Shiki goes around hunting Vampires and Roa. On top of that, they even develop a special relationship.
In this anime, Vampires are actually friendly creatures of nature. But ever since they drank human blood, they became hostile like the stereotype vampire. Arc has been surpressing her thirst for blood for 800 hundred years and has been hunting Roa ever since.
The character development in this anime is great! the mysterious and 'aggresive' Arc, naive and 'closed' Shiki, Kawaii and mature Ciel-senpai who also hunts for Roa, loving Satsuki, cheerful Kohaku, serious but helpful Hisui, Arihiko who is full of excuses and Shiki's 'advisor' and lastly, the mysterious and secretive Akiha who cares a lot about her 'bother'. The only problem in this anime is the character relations. it's really well-done. And also, the 'forbidden love' formula is effective but will have a negative impact in the end.

After experiencing a week of the school's new homeroom system, i came to a simple conclusion. "This is gonna hurt me a lot more that I thought it would." Indeed. Carrying heavy bags all over the school and rushing for the next class, this is probably a hell that no student wants (especially me). I prefer the usual classroom where i can sit back, relax and sleep. I wanted a class too so that I can have a sense of belonging and I wanted to decorate it in my 'special' way. But alas, dreams are only dreams. The school's new system was implemented, topped with the all-new 'homework time' which consumes more time than ever!
The homework time for me takes up 3 days, ending at around 4-5pm each time. By the time I reach home, that would already be 6, which means, less computer for me T-T But the teachers said that it wasn't permanent. They might reconsider it. Fortunately for me, the homework time only starts from the 3rd week onwards. I'll probably just sit back and pray for safety.

Finally i'm back from indonesia. it's been 2 weeks. many things haf happened there. i finally get to see animax myself >_< then... TA's gramedia haf begun sealing all the comics T-T didn't get to read much there but there's still MM and PI mall. i got to buy 3 DN Angel \o/ but vol. 10 seems to be unreleased yet. other than that, they've strated producing g seed, get backers and other stuff. this time in indo, i didn't get to play mah jong wif my grandparents >_< that's because i watch too much. i also bought a series of anime. then, i get to visit my cuz's new home for the 2nd time. still as big as ever and somewhat confusing.

Aoi sora... Aoi umi... (part 2)
More or less same in terms of sea and sky, only that we're now seeing it from a different angle. while i saw the sea on a kayak yesterday, i saw it on a missile covette and a tank carrier today. We went to the newly made changi naval base to enjoy sunday. it was fun. we went up a carrier and even explore in it. the big guns were amazing! the carrier was cool inside because of the air-con, but no the mcv (missile covette "victorious") the carrier is a 6000 tons tank carrier which is about 130m long! the mcv, however, is much smaller. it weights around 300 tons and is around half of the carrier's length. the day end at 1pm, where 4 of us, amir, arron, nick and i, ate at the banquet in east point mall. another fun day. too bad we missed corne's band performance at the naval base T-T

Aoi sora... Aoi umi... (part 1)
I went kayaking today, with a little twist, that is... kayaking with my slippers ^^v i had a damn hard time walking in the water but hell. i nearly lost my slipper 2 times! ok. the weather wasn't that bad. it was clear, blue and hot at 1st but later, it turned dark but no rain. sweet. ok, the downside of kayaking today was... getting sunburnt and 7 cuts (after re-counting). the part i hate has gotta be the capsize drill. i "lost" one of my slippers, only to find it floating it's way back to shore ^^v lunch was $1 worth of egg roti prata with some tasteless curry. wintermelon tea came with it. after lunch was endurance training. paddling, spraying sea water, etc. it was all tiring and hot. i got my neck darker because of the sun. but nevertheless, it was fun (but costly). each 2-man kayak cost $24. we end the session with a beach clean-up (even though we didn't mess it up). dinner was at 6, white sands. amir, elliot, nick and i were eating together.

I woke up at 11.30am this morning to prepare for the bbq event that corne is holding. at reached corne's house at about 1pm. i brought along the cookies that i baked last night, at 11pm. we used the function room and the bbq pit. my cookies finished fast, even when i bake an extra 10 piece. i cooked the sausages, chickens (breast) and fish. too bad i didn't bring any bathing suit. cos the day was sooooooooo hot and the swimming pool was frantically tempting me to jump into it. anyways, madeline, gv, hy, jg and sam went to fred's house after sometime. vics went home while me, syl, corne, pats, jo, mish, jia xin and some extra frenz of corne stayed behind. after that, we went to corne's house to enjoy~ we watched many funny music videos and at the end, i managed to show the fmp! vcd. jo was looking out for the "funny" parts while pat was trying to avoid it. corne and i was somehow neutral. after eating dinner and watching a total of 5 episodes, we went back home. i bathed and 9 and had a mini "quarell" wif nick (cw).
